When fully stocked, the Krowne MC48S two-section glass chiller cools (240) 10-ounce glasses at once. Including the floor, the glasses rest on three racks and are accessible through two sliding doors. Because each door provides access to only half of the unit, less air escapes when staff open a door to reach a glass, helping maintain cold temperatures. To block out ambient air, the cabinet is foamed in place with 2 inches of polyurethane insulation, and the temperature is controlled by a thermostat to ensure consistency. This unit is factory programmed to operate at 0 degrees Fahrenheit, but this setting can be adjusted if needed.

Made of stainless steel inside and out, this Krowne MC48S mug froster is very durable; it resists scratches, rust, dings, and dents. For speedy cleaning, the interior's corners are rounded, eliminating sharp areas where debris could get trapped inside. The unit defrosts itself automatically, and because the evaporator pan contains condensate, a drain line is not required.
